It’s time once more for the much anticipated grand finale to the season – the Under 30′s vs Over 30′s match, followed by the club’s AGM, including trophy presentations and general mayhem.
For those old heads amongst you, the day needs no hyping. For those of you new to the club, this is usually one of the keenest fought games of the year with the Over 30′s buffelos looking to wear down the Under 30′s gazelles. It’s then followed back at the Latch with a barbie, bad speeches, dodgy toasts, the award of silverware for the season’s best performers and some truly appalling dancing.
This year’s Captains are 1st team skipper Phil for the Unders and Occies Vice Captain Sam for the Overs. Please let them know your availability asap. The venue is almost certainly Streatham and Croydon’s ground as the posts have been taken down at Battersea Park.
And may the best team win … as long as they are Over 30.
